Accessing the Record Detail Audit Log
You can configure Civic Platform for access to the audit log and to view related details for each record.
Note: System administrators must set the Agency
access by setting the Enable Record Audit Log option. These steps
are a pre-requisite to setting the FIDs. For complete agency setup
steps, see the section, “Editing an Agency” in the “Agencies and
Functions” chapter in the Civic Platform On-premise Administrator Supplement.

Set the following FIDs:
8468-Inspections List Guide Sheet Audit Log
Note: Best practice is to set both FIDs to Full Access for supervisors and administrators, and set 8459 to Full Access for daily agency users. These settings allow administrators to view the audit logs from both the Record list portlet and the Record Detail portlet. These settings also allow agency users to view the audit log for a specific record from the Record Detail portlet.
