The table below lists and defines the default fields available when working with PM schedules.
Comments | Enter any comments associated with the maintenance schedule. |
Generate Single Work Order for All Addresses | Select this option to create a work order for each asset address linked to this PM schedule. Otherwise, the PM schedule creates a single work order for all addresses. This box is not active if the Include Addresses in Asset’s Work Order option is enabled. |
Generate Single Work Order for All Assets | Select this option to create a work order for each asset linked to this PM schedule. Otherwise, the PM schedule creates a single work order for all assets. |
Generate Work Orders for Child Assets up to n level(s) | Select this option to create work orders for s and their child assets up to three levels. |
Generate Work Order if Previous One Opened | Select this option to allow the PM schedule to create a work order for an asset that has a previous work order still open. |
Include Addresses in Asset’s Work Order | Select this option to include the addresses linked to the preventative maintenance schedule in asset work orders created by the schedule. |
Include Child Assets in Parent item’s Work Order | This option activates when the Generate Work Orders for Child Assets up to n level(s) box is checked. Select this option to create one work order for a parent asset and its child assets. Otherwise, each child asset receives its own work order. |
Link Asset Addresses to Work Orders | Select this option to show an asset’s addresses in work orders created for that asset. |
Log ID | Enter the Log ID number associated with the maintenance schedule. If enabled, you may enter a range when searching where the desired Log ID number is between the upper (From) and lower (To) values. |
Next Schedule Date | The next date when the PM Schedule generates a new work order. The field value
relies on the option that you select in the Trigger By drop-down
list. If the Trigger By option is Scheduled Date, you enter the date
manually in the field. If the Trigger By option is WO Completed Date, this field is read-only. The Next Schedule Date is the completion date of the previous work order plus the Time Interval configured in the PM schedule. If the Trigger By option is WO Closed Date, this field is read-only. The Next Schedule Date is the closed date of the previous work order plus the Time Interval configured in the PM schedule. |
Primary Only | This option activates when the Link Asset Addresses to Work Orders box is checked. Select this option to show only an asset’s primary address in work orders created by this PM schedule. |
Record Status | Indicates the status of the record. |
Schedule ID | This read-only field displays the auto-generated sequence number of the PM schedule. |
Schedule Name | Enter a unique name for the schedule. |
Schedule Status | Indicates the status of the scheduled maintenance. Example: Active or Expired. The status controls whether or not the maintenance schedule executes a work order or not. If the status is active, the work order generates. Civic Platform does not execute a work order after the expiration date. |
Start Date | The start date for the PM schedule. When you create a new PM schedule, the start date indicates the date when the PM schedule becomes available to run. |
Template | The name of work order template used for the schedule. |
Time Interval | The number of days/weeks/months/years between work orders generated for scheduled maintenance tasks. If enabled, you may enter a range when searching where the desired time interval is between the upper (From) and lower (To) values. |
Trigger By | Indicates when the next PM schedule should begin. There are three available values in this drop-down list: Scheduled Date: If you want Civic Platform to generate work orders on a fixed schedule, select this value. When you select this value, Civic Platform generates work orders regardless of the previous work order status. WO Completed Date: Select this value if you want the next PM schedule to begin based on the completion of the prior work order. WO Closed Date: Select this value if you want the next PM schedule to begin based on the closing date of the prior work order. |
Usage Interval | The usage interval value and then select the unit type in the drop‑down list. |
Summary Fields in the Preview Summary Report
The table shown below lists and defines the summary fields that display on the “PM Schedule Preview Summary” report.
Schedule Name | The PM schedule name. |
Work Orders | The number of work orders generated successfully from the PM schedule. |
Linked Assets | The number of assets in the s tab of the PM schedule. |
Skipped Assets (User Setting) | The number of assets in the Skipped Assets tab of the PM schedule. Civic Platform does not generate work orders for these assets. |
Skipped Assets (Open Previous Work Order) | If you clear the Generate Work Order if Previous One Opened option for the PM schedule, this field counts the assets for which generated work orders exist for the PM schedule. Civic Platform does not generate work orders for these assets. |
Skipped Assets (Hold Event) | The number of linked assets that the PM schedule should not execute based on existing hold events in the Hold Event tab. |
Skipped Assets (Not due to Generate Work Order) | If the Through Date of the PM schedule that you specify in Enter the Through Date. is earlier than the Next Schedule Date, Asset Management does not generate work orders from the PM schedule. This field counts the number of all the linked assets. Otherwise, this field counts the number of assets with active lock condition, and the assets with details conflicting with the PM schedule details (such as Usage Interval). |
Total Skipped Assets | This field is the sum of all the skipped assets. |
Linked Addresses | This field counts the number of addresses in the Linked Addresses tab of the PM schedule. |
Skipped Addresses (Open Previous Work Order) | If you clear the Generate Work Order if Previous One Opened option for the PM schedule, this field displays the number of linked addresses for which work order currently exist. Civic Platform does not generate work orders for these addresses. |
Skipped Addresses (Not due to Generate Work Order) | This field displays the number of linked addresses. If the Through Date of the PM schedule that you specify in Enter the Through Date. is earlier than the Next Schedule Date, Asset Management does not generate work orders from the PM schedule. |
Total Skipped Addresses | This field is the sum of all the skipped addresses. |
