Cache Time-out Setting

The cache time-out setting specifies the maximum amount of time (in seconds) that your agency’s data remains cached before you purge it. By default, the time-out setting is 43200 seconds (12 hours). You can adjust the value in the configuration files on the Civic Platform server.

To configure the cache time-out value

1. Open the ServerConfig.properties file from any of the following folders:

   • <server_name>\av.biz\conf\av\

   • <server_name>\av.biz\conf\av\

   • <server_name>\av.cfmx\conf\av\

2. Locate the framework.cache.<data_name>.timeout property you want to define and enter the desired value in seconds.
