The Civic Platform Oxygen User Interface is a completely streamlined and modern
experience, especially if you are used to the Vantage 360 (V360) User Interface. The
inspiration behind the design is "taking a breath of fresh air," which we hope you feel
once you access it. It is designed to provide you with a more intuitive user experience,
even as it helps you get your job done more effectively and efficiently.
Using feedback from our users, we improved performance and layout issues from the 8.0
User Interface, making the experience much faster and more pleasant. The menu bar is
more condensed to give more real estate on the page. The Task Dashboard has improvements
such as default filters that can be configured system wide or by the user. Even the load
time is dramatically improved.
Our development and architecture teams did a lot of research in their quest to build a
new user interface that is modern, responsive, and built for speed.

How do I...?
We understand that transition can be frustrating, so to alleviate some of that, we
are providing you with a reference table that lists a number of common activities
you might perform in a typical work day. For each activity listed, we provide you
with helpful tips on how to proceed with those activities in the new user interface.
