Overview

Because Civic Platform is a web-based application, access and usage on your internet browser is an intuitive process. What you can see and do when logging in depends on how your agency has configured Civic Platform, as well as your user permissions.

Agency administrators can:

• Regulate the functions and tasks that access and manipulate the data stored in Civic Platform.
• Manage the maintenance cycle.
• Create unique workflow processes for each user, enabling users to work more efficiently. For example, configure Civic Platform to display various items for different groups:
  • Clerks: pending tasks and open applications.
  • Inspectors: list of inspections for the day.
  • Managers: executive charts to review the department's performance.
