Creating a Model Record

To create a model record

  1. Navigate to the Record portlet.

    Civic Platform displays the record list portlet.

  2. Click Create From Model.

    Civic Platform displays a list of models.



  3. You can use search to locate the model you want to work with.

  4. Select the models you want and then click Select or click the link in the Name column.

    Civic Platform displays the selected model details.



  5. Update the information for the model record as you would for a new application.

    You may need to supply application information, address information, owner information, application specific information, and other information depending on the application type. Remember that this is the model, so leave fields blank that will have different information for each application based on the model. See Modeling Main Page Fields for field definitions.

  6. Click Submit.

    Civic Platform creates the model record.
